Welcome!

I sit at lunch with my mom in Dublin, following the legacy of our aunt that has just passed. Before this loss, I saw her in a blue chair overlooking a field that was familiar and green. In my vision, I asked her what was through that window. “Ireland,” she said.

And so, here we are, her daughters, called to the island that called her. “What do you want to do with your life?"

Hesitant and scared at what this life after graduation might mean for me financially and spiritually, I answer my mom, “I’m a writer," claiming I know these difficulties to be real, “If only I had a mentor, a sign that this is my path.”

Minutes later, we walk to the National Gallery mostly to kill time and to use the bathroom. I tuck away to a corner space where Monet is on the wall. I stare at the water in the paint, noticing a woman next to me, that resembles someone I had known. I go up to her, ask if she is who I think she is, and with a gasp and a hug, surely enough, appears the loving and surprised face of my high school writing teacher: the woman who inspired and nurtured my love for the craft.

This page is a space to name and document the magic found in such experiences, as well as to aid others in naming their own. In sitting with me, whether in Reiki, writing, cards, or channeling, I hope you reignite the flame within you that unfolds a creative mission, reconnects you with your purpose, and re-instills beauty into everyday life. The goal and desire of my work is to support you in remembering who you are. To hold up that mirror, like a gentle candlelight, and say "Dance. In this remembrance, in this empowerment, in this joy."

All life begins here: in knowing who you are. It serves as foundation. It allows you to make informed and strong decisions, to decipher the world and people around you more clearly, to live more honestly, happily, and fully.

The Feminine is returning to balance, as are the worlds within and without us. My wish is to welcome this unique power of women back into the woman, to sit with those in that process, to meet them in the dark, and find that flame to guide. Call her Priestess, Goddess, Yin, Divine Feminine, the ancient call to return home. I am a record keeper, a student, a woman ever-growing; and this is Encounters With the Feminine.

Let me know what's on your mind
